La Casa del Yoga

As founder of La Casa del Yoga, Kat believes that radiant health comes from ease of the body, ease of the mind and heartfelt connections. La Casa del Yoga launched in 2013 and is constantly evolving to provide a unique service to their students, having become a sanctuary for all to experience positive life transformations, increased confidence, an abundance of health and a lightness of heart. We work with passion for one simple reason – because the world you experience is exactly what your mind and heart soaks in. See the timetable and map below for our new location.

There are daily classes, monthly workshops, courses and weekend retreats in various styles from vinyasa yoga, vinyasa krama, hatha yoga, pregnancy yoga, holistic yoga, Satsang, Yin & Yang and healthy food. We also offer private sessions and consultations upon request.

Workshop Details

Summer Workshop: Practice - Advance - Relax

Exploring essential poses of a vinyasa yoga class

Dates (differ from schedule):

August 18, 10:00 - 13:00 or August 23, 18:30 - 21:30

(choose 1 day, it’s the same workshop)

  • Deepen and advance you practice

  • Find pose variations that work for you

  • Learn a meditation to focus and relax

What you can expect from the workshop

We will look more deeply into the reason for practicing yoga asana (physical postures). Some questions we will answer together include

  • Why do we do those practices (what is the deeper reason behind them from a yogic point of view?)

  • How can the physical practice help us in other areas in our lives?

  • How can you bring what you learn in your yoga practice off the mat and into your life?

What you will take from this workshop

  • You will have a deeper understanding of yoga asana practice and how it can benefit your body, your mind, and your life

  • You will improve your personal practice by learning more about how to correctly and safely practice specific key postures

  • You will learn how to adjust a pose to your personal needs and flexibility to get the best effect for YOUR body and mind

  • You will learn a meditation technique to help you focus and find your confidence and motivation
