Crying in class.
Yesterday I went on a cosmic trip with Simon Parks from Liquid Flow Yoga and cried my little eyes out during the final meditation. I haven´t felt quite like myself since but I know good things are happening deep inside.
We have lots of layers as human beings, just like an onion really. The layer we mostly connect with is the outer layer, the physical body and then a little underneath you get the energetic body and then hiding deep down in the forest is the emotional body - and if you hit that boy are you guna know about it.
So, how to get there? Well, this is not a game and is only to be attempted by serious practitioners with experience who have a spiritual purpose, please don´t go playing with dangerous things that not even the universe can control.
If you are looking to connect with your higher self, the place where your true peace resides, a place where all your painful memories and traumas have the potential to be dissolved then be prepared to work hard in your asana practice to improve the purity and intelligence of your physical body, work consciously and mindfully with your breath and your energetic body and then just like a butterfly opens it wings your emotional body will unfold. At first it may not be pretty, you may suffer from nightmares, feel stuck in between spaces as the beauty waiting to appear struggles to exit its sticky cocoon, you may even squeal in frustration and pain but have patience. Keep going and you will fly. You will fly and yes, you will cry. Enjoy.
