Mass Meditation with Red
On Monday 26th January Red magazine will be teaming up with Headspace to host a worldwide mass meditation from 1pm to 1.10pm. By simply taking 10 minutes of ‘time out’ they hope to turn Blue Monday Red.
Meditation is hands down one of the best habits you can adopt. Just 10 minutes a day can help to improve mood, concentration, the way we approach life while enhancing positivity and well-being. You will benefit, your family will benefit, your job and social life too. I know it might seem boring and frustrating at first but remember this; everything in life worth having takes time, hard work and an ocean of patience.
So, when the clock strikes 1pm this Monday sit comfortably, a chair will do perfectly, with a nice straight spine. Roll your shoulders away from your ears and imagine your spine growing tall and long like elastic and relax. Breathe deeply following the inhale and exhale right to the end, if you need further guidance you can log on to Hedspace and use their 10 min meditation app.
