This Saturday just gone I was lucky enough to wake-up in the North of Wales where I was blessed with this beautiful view. I’d spent Friday trekking from the Basque Country, 1 car, 1 plane, 2 trains, 1 taxi and 10 hours later I arrived at my destination, @thezestlife yoga retreat. After a hearty veggie chilli dinner, mugs of ginger tea and a hot bath I went straight to bed, unaware of the wonders that awaited me with sunrise.
As I opened my curtains at around 7am, the past weeks of non-stop work and business related stress instantly melted away, I felt tears form in my eyes and trickle down my cheeks into the corners of my smiling mouth. As I listened to the birds sing, the rivers trickle and sheep baa, as the fresh air blew on my skin and I scanned the lush green, vibrant landscape I arrived home, home to the present moment.
I once read that one of the spiritual keys to success is to spend time everyday alone with nature allowing yourself to be absorbed in her wonder, witnessing her power of creation is humbling, everything is perfect, everything is exactly as it should be and we can totally trust the process of life.
