I’m absolutely over the moon that my retreat journey has circled back to the joyous north of England — to the wide, open skies and salty air of the east coast of Lincolnshire. After years in London and nearly 14 in Spain, there’s something about coming back north that just feels like a homecoming. I was born in Doncaster, after all — so the north is stitched into my bones.

In 2012, I followed my heart to Spain with my young family and launched Bilbao Yoga Retreats. That adventure showed me the magic of pausing, the healing power of nature, and the gift of giving yourself space to breathe. Now, I’ve returned to the UK coastline and opened Wild Heart House in Cleethorpes — a simple, soulful rest-house by the sea.

These weekends are about slowing down and tuning back in. We’ll meditate, journal, wander coastal paths, eat delicious food, rest deeply, and rediscover joy in the small things. Think sea air, fresh perspective, and long exhale energy.

These retreats are small, affordable, and lovingly designed so that anyone can step away from the noise of daily life and sink into stillness. My hope is to share the practices that have held me over the years — tools to de-stress, to soften, to befriend your own mind — so you leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease in yourself.

What’s Included

  • 2 nights’ stay in my cozy coastal retreat house (shared or private room options)

  • Friday evening welcoming dinner and special opening ceremony

  • Saturday morning Full English Breakfast (vegetarian or healthy options available too) in a local northern cafe by the seaside!

  • Guided group walk along the Humber Mouth & Cleethorpes Nature Reserve

  • Saturday afternoon meditation, gentle movement, breath work and community at the house.

  • Saturday evening dinner together.

  • Sunday morning meditation, breath work, Satsang and losing circle to carry the calm home with you.

The UK retreat house is a Victorian Town house from 1888 and has lots of peaceful space for you to enjoy and relax.

Sample Schedule

Friday

From 3:00 pm – Arrivals, grounding & free time

7.00 pm – Welcoming vegetarian dinner & opening ceremony

Saturday

09.30 Breakfast together in the Seaside cafe!

11:00am – Group nature walk & guided beach meditation

2:30pm - Back to the house for self-led lunch (you can use our kitchen or try a local eatery!)

4:00–6:30pm – Workshop: Befriending Your Mind (breathwork, meditation & self-awareness)

7:30pm – Nourishing vegetarian dinner & friendship

Sunday

Morning – Free time for self-led breakfast

10:00–11:30am – Gentle movement & guided meditation (self-love focus)

11:30am–12:00pm – Closing Ceremony

12:00pm – Departures with an open heart

Booking your retreat

Payment Details

A £ 100 deposit is required at the time of booking and the rest of the payment is due two weeks before the retreat start date. Please email Kat to check availability for your dates and use the Paypal button below. If you do not have Paypal Kat is happy to find another way for you to make the transfer.

Cancellation Policy

The deposit is fully refundable if the retreat is cancelled 3 weeks before the retreat date. Cancellations made after this time are non-refundable.

Once the retreat has started there are no refunds.
